2. Goals and target group of the project
Participants of the project are children and youths from the socially weakest families or the Roma minority. The services are developed to the different age groups and encompass:
School children
Young people looking for a job
Further Roma children and youths in crisis situations can take part in the projects.

4.Summary / short description of the project progress
Engagement with other kindergartens is being established to connect the Roma children with children from the majority population.
Parents are being actively involved in the supervision; project staff keep up regular contact with them.
Important aspects for the support of the children are sport and leisure activities. (Excursions with the mothers, theatre visits, …)
Every week on Thursday we have prevention programs with 15 – 20 children:
drugs, school,conflicts, domestic violence ...

How we select the beneficiaries.
The entry to Erko is free for clients at the age of 6 - 26.
Roma center has the rules for work.

Every day we have learning club for 4 – 12 children. 40 children permonth.
Erko is visited by 4 – 6 students, who work with children.

Case studies: Erko / theatre
At first older girls didn’t want to take part in the performance for public and families. But, later on, during the preparations in ERKO they became enthusiastic and then they performed, danced and were placed among the best.
